I think that they would be helpful during center time. I have a center monitor who manages questions when I am teaching in my small group. My students could use these hand signals to let the center monitor know what they need. Thanks for sharing how you use them in your classroom!

Jasmine
Buzzing With Mrs. McClain
Jasminehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10820648971232448087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8167969848930230825.post-3862007005219905362014-07-13T18:50:06.097-07:002014-07-13T18:50:06.097-07:00I'm a big fan of the hand signals as well. I saw signs like this in a colleague's classroom toward the end of the year and I meant to ask her about them. I only used 1 for bathroom though...all the other ones I had other procedures or routines for. It worked beautifully! My students were able to silently signal they needed to use the restroom and they were able to learn that eye contact and a head nod or shake meant yes or no! Why I forgot to do this last year with my second graders, I'm not sure! Thanks for the reminder!

Theresa @ True Life I'm a Teacher!Theresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06166416990960797424noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8167969848930230825.post-46339536996460538962014-07-12T08:21:59.984-07:002014-07-12T08:21:59.984-07:00I love this idea!I love this idea!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15864442355339517243noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8167969848930230825.post-38965011424348830122014-07-12T06:12:10.975-07:002014-07-12T06:12:10.975-07:00Great idea!
